Particle Charging and Electrical Adsorption- Literature Review

In fluid mechanics courses, I knew about fluid simulation for the first time, which is an totally new aspect different from sciences in textbooks. So I visited my mentor to see if there is research topics on simulations. At that time, Prof. Yang was concerned with the air pollution in China. Therefore he recommended me to research on the particle adsorption by electricity. I spent lots of time searching Chinese literature, which turned out not that useful. But when I saw the picture on the left, I was absorbed that simulation could accurately predict the flow and particle. When I was about to start, it’s a pity I did not further it since another group focusing on particle had already researched on it. Considering the fact I would not change the mentor, so I tried to find new opportunities. But fortunately I read several books on plasma and electro-adsorption.
